This qualification entitles the license holder to fly just for fun and complete other flight training courses to increase his qualifications, which may lead him to the cockpit of an airliner someday.
Initial requirements
- Minimum age to start training is 16 years of age
- The applicant can take his first solo flight after reaching 17 years of age
- Applicants under 18 years old need to have written parental consent
- Medical fitness certificate at least class II, which must be presented before the first solo flight
- Radiotelephone certificate for air traffic control (restricted or general), which must be presented before the first solo flight
